SYNOPSIS We; We were born as a synthesis as a result of the contrast between the thesis of the west and the antithesis of the east. DIRECTOR STATEMENT From the past to the present, all humanity including myself, has searched for something, and found that narratives are a means of combating death. They tried to make sense in search, to make reason in meaning, and finally parsed them; just as they found, named, and eventually parsed West and East while in search of meaning. However, I, as a child of this century and a member of the Y generation, I was born by synthesizing the thesis of the West and the anti-thesis of the East as a result of this opposition. I was fed by myths, religions, fairy tales, science, architecture, painting, music and theatre. Finally, I realized that all religions, all places, all art movements, all melodies are for us all. Even though there are differences in our rituals, and holy places, all our pursuits were one and the same... From ancient times to the present, we have cared about symbols, we tattooed those symbols on our body as an expression. We believed that it healed, we added meaning into them, and we synthesized it and turned it into a work of art. We blew a breath into the reed flute which has the same knuckle count as the human knuckle. With the reed flute consisting of seven holes and seven exquisite levels, we synthesized all the realms within us and expressed it as a melody. We proved the existence of rhythm with the heartbeats of the fetus in the womb. In the ages where there was no word, we learned to communicate through the movement of our bodies. We danced into joy, sadness, birth and death. We presented it as a new identity in all cultures from the west to the east. Finally, we wrote poems with our bodies synthesizing all identities. Our costumes were first our basic needs, then the reflection of the cultures, then the codes of the individuals, and finally, they all became ours synthesizing the contrast between thesis and antithesis. We trace this synthesis in the kimonos used as costumes in the movie. On Turkish carpet motifs, which have been reflected by women for thousands of years by symbolizing all their discourses on pain, hope and lifew we embark on a historical visual journey about the synthesis of east and west of art by featuring Mona Lisa, Woman with Erect, Aphrodite, Three Angels, and Zeus. I based this movie on this dialectic. I placed the human being in the center, who is formed with both spiritual and material integrity. I built the venues, the mise-en-scene, the art design, the light, the music, the actors… everything in line according to this perspective. Considering my extreme passionate about the fashion designing industry , I seriously chose to stay in this field in French. French has always been a very interesting country for me , so it will definitely be a very sweet experience for me to study in it. My aim is to study in French , and to work in the fashion designing industry. I have been being really passionate about fashion designing since childhood, and I have always been trying to imply a particular concept in all of my designs. I think it's really beautiful and interesting to illustrate an idea through designing a clothing. I would like to create new point of views based on what is within each person. I'm struggling hard, to cause all the people be aware of themselves and what is within them. I'm also trying to introduce everyone to the new materials and methods. I would consider myself a talented person in this field because I really believe in my own capabilities . I like to create new conceptual designs. I have many various experiences in this field. Since childhood , I have been having a very strong relationship with the art and also have been active in illustration , styling , fashion origami , and music.

Musician and painter, Randall Vemer, has once again expanded his talent pool; this time into filmmaking. In a nearly 12-minute biographical documentary, Vemer reveals what happened when his ability to play his beloved viola was taken away. The film is filled with striking portraits of the people and instruments by which he's been surrounded for much of his life. And always the educator, the hauntingly lovely music is scored and timed, not only to enhance the viewer's enjoyment of Vemer's classical style images but also to point out which instrument is highlighted within the rich and ethereal paintings. Randall Vemer's musical bio-doc is a moving tribute to the creativity, discipline, and heart of this incredibly talented man. If you need a pick-me-up, a gentle nudge in "the feels", or just a good old-fashioned American success story, you MUST watch this film.

An unnamed narrator recounts his pursuit of an animal that appears mysteriously one night on the beach. Pearl Dog is the first short film to be created using a hybrid technique which sees each frame of film painstakingly reinterpreted using artificial intelligence similar to the traditional animation process of rotoscoping. This process balances the intentions of the filmmaker with the transformative power of machine learning algorithms. Written in the style of a traditional gothic horror poem, Pearl Dog tell the story of an unnamed narrator recounting his pursuit of a dog that appears mysteriously one night on the beach. Actor Conor Charlton lends his voice to the role, as the narration and animation form a juxtaposition of old and new, resulting in a strange, haunting and dreamlike work.

An orphaned, anthropology student, seeking clues about her birth mom, finds an eerie bond to Califia, the mythical 16th Century Black Queen of California, exposes sinister cover-ups by officials linked to millions in university endowments.

A woman wanders the desert in search of a connection to her spiritual self and is transported to another realm where she embraces the dark and untamed.
